Naturally dyed on sustainably sourced post-consumer cotton fabric, this piece is hand dyed with a one of a kind, unique design.
This particular piece was made by a shibori technique of folding the fabric and using elastics and wooden blocks before submerging it in the dye vat to create the different patterns.
This tapestry is lightweight with the feel of a natural fibre, generally with the weight and drape of a basic bed sheet.
Did you know that natural indigo comes from a plant? We believe in chemical free colours because we wouldn't add anything to the environment that we wouldn't want to add to our own backyard.
